Scrumptious Gingersnap Cookie Recipe

Round gingersnaps

This week I have been writing a lot about cookie jars and cookies. Before moving on to other topics, I must include my Scumptious Gingersnap Cookie recipe.

This cookie is a favorite of mine for two reasons:

1. They are delicious (I love gingersnaps!)
2. They help with motion sickness.

Several of my grandchildren (and me, too) have motion sickness when traveling down long twisty curvy up and down roads such as those in the Ozarks. The ginger in gingersnaps helps control the nausea and makes the trips much more pleasant for all involved.

They are also good for morning sickness during pregnancy.

Scrumptious Gingersnaps: Perfect to fill any cookie jar!

Ingredients:
2 cups sifted flour
1 tbsp. ground ginger
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. salt

1 egg
¼ cup molasses
